The van is part of the team’s commitment to reducing the environmental impact of its activities, and will be used to travel to buildings outside the ROQ that are managed by FM, including Wytham Woods and Trajan House at Osney Mead.
It is the latest of a fleet of electric FM vehicles, most of which are used by the University Mail Service for mail and courier deliveries. FM are keen to contribute to the University’s efforts to meet the ambitious goal of halving carbon emissions from their peak by 2030 that the Environmental Sustainability team recently unveiled.
