New printer adds weatherproof posters to Print Studio’s repertoire

The University Print Studio team have expanded their range of services once again, recently acquiring a specialist Canon printer that can produce vibrantly coloured posters and banners in sizes up to A0.

The new equipment enables the team to create larger, more impressive and impactful posters than were previously possible in-house, in a wider range of materials and finishes. This includes weather-resistant posters that can be used outside for a few weeks. This is the team’s second large-format printer, and it also means they can handle much bigger orders, and take on more projects at once.

The Print Studio are the University’s in-house print and design specialists, and their services are available at competitive rates to all staff and students.

They can help with projects big or small – from producing thousands of exam papers or creating brochures in support of a major marketing campaign, to printing small numbers of posters or leaflets to promote an event, club or society.

They can print existing designs, or work with customers to create a design that meets their needs.

Alongside Mail Service colleagues, they can also have the finished results sent anywhere in the University or beyond.
