Science Wonder Garden Party comes to Begbroke

Earlier in the summer, Begbroke Science Park opened its doors to all for the Science Wonder Garden Party – an event aimed at igniting imaginations and engaging local people with the amazing research and technology development that goes on there and across the wider University.

With live music, free food and a huge range of activities for people of all ages – from nature trails and science talks to launching rockets and meeting Spot the robot dog – it was a fantastic day out, attracting nearly 1,500 visitors. Take a look at the video that’s now been released to get a flavour of what was on offer.

Organised by Oxford University Development (OUD), this is the third of a continuing series of public engagement events aimed at strengthening Begbroke’s links with the local community. So don’t worry if you missed this one – watch this space and more will follow.
