Our network of nominated SLO representatives have the authority and flexibility to delivery security strategy, policies and standards at departmental level. Their role includes:
- reviewing or developing department security and emergency plans
- undertaking physical (building) security surveys
- liason with the crime prevention team for advice and guidance
- providing regular generic or site-specific security information updates
We encourage all departments to appoint an SLO to work closely with Security Services crime reduction staff. For more information please contact the team.
