Come along to the Science Wonder Garden Party on 1 July at Begbroke!

The event lasts from 11am til 4pm in the grounds of the Science Park, OX5 1PF. There will be free, fun science activities suitable for all ages and all levels of knowledge - it's a drop-in event with no need to book, but you can find out more at its Eventbrite page. Please feel to come along to some or all of it, and to bring your family and friends along too.

There will be lots to do, with activities that include finding out how animals are tracked in the wild with the University's Wildlife Conservation Research Unit (WildCRU), taking part in an AI gameshow, interacting with the Oxford Robotics Institute's robotic dog Spot, learning about efforts to build a circular local economy, joining a lab tour or exploring the trails around the site on a scavenger hunt. There will also be free vegan lunch while it lasts.

This is part of an ongoing programme of public engagement events organised by Oxford University Development (OUD), the development company set up as part of the University's joint venture with Legal & General to deliver its strategic goals of building innovation districts and new housing for staff and graduate students.
