We are responsible for the upkeep of the fabric of buildings – including walls, roofs and windows – across the functional estate, and for the electrical and mechanical systems within buildings. The repairs and maintenance (R&M) plan sets out the planned maintenance work we intend to carry out over the next three years, and is updated annually on a rolling basis.

Tasks on the list are due to start during this financial year (August 2022 – July 2023), although larger projects are likely to take place over the whole of next summer and will be completed within the next 18 months. Some of the work carried out may be funded by the Carbon Management Strategy fund as it will deliver sustainability benefits by reducing energy usage and carbon emissions.
