Card types and Categories
The various categories of the University card and the type of card each goes on
Student Cards
The card type below will carry one for the following card categories: Undergraduate, Graduate or VRO Student.
Central University Staff Cards
The card type below will card one of the following card categories: University Staff, Congregation, Retiree.
College Staff, Departmental Staff and Other University Cards
The card types below will carry one of the following card categories:
- Blue top card: College Staff, Departmental Staff, Academic Visitor, Departmental Visiting Student, Card Holder with Bodleian Access.
- Grey top card: Card Holder without Bodleian Access, Temporary Pass (departmental use only).
Please Note: Bodleian Access for the Card Holder category is at the discretion of the Bodleian Library.
Virtual Access
This card category does not come with a physical card. There are two types: Academic Virtual Access and Non-Academic Virtual Access.
